The Promise Broken
Ruins so many things. Climbing back out is harder than breaking your word.
Acrylic and ink on gallery stretched canvas. Original piece. Signed both front and back by artist.
I'm really loving the organic / expressive movement that your work has been taking recently. It's really quite breathtaking - you can just see the strokes that carried the paint and ink to the canvas. It's quite incredible.
Absolutely brilliant. My new favorite from your work. Seriously, I'm totally in love with this. I adore everything about it...the color scheme, the water-stained-like effect of the light paint, the contrast of the splatters with the scribble-like lines...it all just works so well together.
Don't put it past me, I have done it before and plan to do it again. However in this case, dirty/used paint water sufficed perfectly. Fitting too considering the piece and circumstance.
I had no idea you were actively watching. (going by your 'recently' comment, i'm guessing you have?) Thank you for your kind words. I always appreciate support from those whom themselves have skilled hands as well.
None of I preemptively addressed either, I just started marking my way around the piece, going where I though felt right. Which to me I though was best because it's like you said: natural.
