Artist's Comments

The Sky Was In Pain
..the sky opened up, lit my eyes on fire. The sun had distorted to a whipping strand of isolation. The sky was bleeding then. And all I could do is helplessly weep... hoping tomorrow would come.

I've been shaking alot of anti-creative magma off my shoulders.. and finally got out something I feel has adjusted me in a direction i've always wanted to explore. I can't really describe it, it's just more of a string of feelings i've never really unleashed on a piece before.. never imbued them into my projects.
This is one of them, it's really personal to me. So please, bare with me here.

Many thanks to a few people who helped me get this out: voice, beyondlight, nighty, drahomira, nagangel.

I hope you all enjoy.
Forgive the quality, the print version is much juicier, you've my word.
The Print can be found in my zazzle account under user name: neosynthetic.

As per my usual, comments are welcome, critiquing is futile. (see journal entry.)

this is an awesome picture, its really beautiful, and goes with what you wrote.
i really like this picture, i think its the best one ive seen today, wow

im really into abstract things like that, with a little bit of exerpt in the comment
because im a writer as well as a visual artist, if that is a title, im not sure

but back to this picture *scrolls up to look at it again* wow
*speechless* i really like it
good job at capturing feeling, not just in the picture itsself, but in the title and in the exerpt
^_^

Ah, you've brightened up my boring core I.T. lesson. Glad to see some great imagination here, and just when I just signed on too :) I'm gonna snoop around your gallery now, heh. Great work, it really portrays what you wrote

I don't get why you're so anti-critique.
Nobody says change the piece itself, but learn from it for future reference.

Anyways. I'm interested in the neosynthesis group. Lemme know whats up.

Oh and yeah. THis is really good. Nice direction for you. NOt like anything you've ever done, whch is good.

Burn those men of science who would trivialize the collapse of a sun;
And kill the athiests who can only make their tears with thumbscrews.

This seems to me to be really quite different from most of your stuff, some similaritys but not many.

I like it, its far more expressive to my eye than some of your other pieces, but then, it is in the eye of the beholder.
The style is odd, I take it its layered and has some interesting things with lights going on here?
The style and description kinda remind me of the feel of some of the Norse mythology I used to read... *shrugs*

A different approach that I have to say I like.

Well, it's quite simple.
Why should I concider critiques?
I've not used them as tools before.
I don't learn by 'give me your feedback so I can get better!'
it's never changed, i've always been one to take care of myself instead of listen to what others have to say about my final pieces.

have I shared a work in progress, looking for input?
no, and for a good reason too.

alas to say, I'm more prone to my own input and learning from my accomplishments, than to listen to other individuals try and mold me.
there's nothing saying this is against some law or rule, most people can't accept it anyhow, but no matter.. it's just how it's been.

if you're interested, drop me an IM
still have my sn?
